I grew up on the Saanich Peninsula, and then went on to play BCHL hockey for the Victoria Grizzlies on the Westshore and for the Clippers in Nanaimo, then finished my career in Vernon with the Vipers. I now call the Cowichan Valley home and am also very well connected there as my wife and her extended family have lived in the Valley for generations.
